Ein Treffen in Berlin

Anna sits in a café in Berlin. She looks at her watch. It is three o'clock. She is early. Her date Thomas comes at quarter past three. Anna is nervous. She drinks water and waits.

"He likes books. You like books. He has a cat. You have a cat. You are perfect for each other!" Julia was very excited. Anna said yes. Now she waits in the café. She wears a red scarf. It is her lucky scarf.

Julia told Thomas about the red scarf. That helps Thomas to find her. Anna looks at the menu. Coffee costs two euros. Tea costs three euros. Beer costs four euros per glass. She practices in her head what she wants to say.

A man walks to the café. He has brown hair and glasses. He wears a blue jacket. He looks at the tables. Then he runs into a chair! "Oh! Excuse me!" he says. Anna tries not to laugh. He sees her red scarf.
