Summary

Franz is 35 and keeps a diary to plan his day and reflect on what went well. He wakes to the church bell and birds, feels tired from a late night, and sets a clear intention: to stay calm.

After a simple breakfast, he goes to his job at the local tourist office, gives visitors easy directions, and faces a small test when the printer stops working. He breathes, checks the cable and paper, restarts the device, and continues with more questions in the afternoon. Later he shops, laughs with his friend Markus, cooks vegetable soup, and ends the day with a short entry of satisfaction before falling asleep.
