El regalo de cumpleaños de Anna

Anna wants a birthday gift for her friend. She enters a cozy bookstore. It is a warm and quiet place, and it smells of new books. There are many shelves with story books. She smiles and looks around.

An employee greets her. “How can I help you?” he asks. “I am looking for an easy novel in Italian,” she says. The employee nods. He shows her two books. “This is shorter.” “That one has pictures.”

Anna opens the two books. The first book is more interesting for her. She points to the book and she decides. “I want this book, please.” She takes it to the counter. And she looks at the price.

She pays with a card. “Can you wrap it as a gift?” she asks. The employee says yes. And he wraps it in blue paper. He puts a small bow. Ana leaves happy and ready to give it as a gift.
