Summary

At Zaragoza train station, Jannet is starting a weekend trip to Barcelona. She arrives early with her small suitcase and a book, checks the huge departure boards and finds her train. When a red “Delayed” appears and her departure is pushed back, she chooses not to get annoyed. Instead she buys some water, slips into a bar for an espresso and ends up chatting with another passenger whose train is also late, turning the wait into a surprisingly pleasant pause.

An announcement suddenly moves the train from platform 6 to platform 7, sending everyone hurrying along the station. Jannet follows the crowd, double‑checks the display and finally climbs aboard. As the train glides out of Zaragoza, she finds a seat, stows her luggage and relaxes with her book. The fifteen‑minute delay becomes a small lesson in patience and flexibility, and a tiny adventure that gently sets the tone for her weekend in Barcelona.
