Summary
Summary
Emma is on holiday in Florence when she notices a small, cozy clothes shop. Her favourite shirt has a stain, so she decides to buy a new one. Inside, she asks the friendly shop assistant for a simple blue shirt. The first shirt he shows her is a medium, but it looks too small, so he finds a large size instead. Emma goes to the fitting room, tries it on and is happy with the colour and the comfortable fit.

At the counter, the assistant tells her the shirt costs forty‑five euros. Emma thinks it is a bit expensive and asks if there is a cheaper option. There isn’t, but he explains a special offer: if she buys two shirts, she gets a 50% discount on the second. After seeing all the available colours, Emma decides to take a blue shirt and a black one. She pays by card, thanks the assistant and leaves the shop feeling proud—not only because she has new clothes, but because she has handled the whole conversation in a new language.
