Emergenza Medica a Napoli

Francesca, a Spanish teacher from Barcelona, arrives in Naples for her first Italian vacation and enjoys exploring the vibrant city until a seafood lunch leaves her with severe food poisoning. Unable to speak Italian and suffering from intense stomach pain and headaches, she must rely on the kindness of strangers who help her reach the guardia medica (emergency medical service). Dr. Rossi treats her symptoms and provides prescriptions, using simple drawings to explain the medication instructions. Through this frightening experience, Francesca discovers the warmth of Italian healthcare workers and learns essential medical vocabulary, finding unexpected humanity in a foreign city during her moment of vulnerability.
