Incontro al Duomo di Milano
(Meeting at the Duomo)
1. Jan cammina vicino al Duomo. Vede il suo collega Giuseppe. "Ciao Giuseppe!" dice Jan. Jan walks near the Duomo. He sees his colleague Giuseppe. "Hi Giuseppe!" says Jan.
2. "Ciao Jan! Cosa fai qui?" chiede Giuseppe. "È una bella giornata." "Hi Jan! What are you doing here?" asks Giuseppe. "It's a beautiful day."
3. "Faccio una passeggiata," risponde Jan. "Vado al supermercato. Ho bisogno di pane e latte." "I'm taking a walk," replies Jan. "I'm going to the supermarket. I need bread and milk."
4. "Ah, capisco! Come sta la tua famiglia?" chiede Giuseppe. "I bambini stanno bene?" "Ah, I understand! How is your family?" asks Giuseppe. "Are the children well?"
5. "Sì, grazie. Stanno molto bene," dice Jan. "E i tuoi figli? Vanno ancora alla scuola internazionale?" "Yes, thank you. They are very well," says Jan. "And your children? Do they still go to the international school?"
6. "Sì, vanno lì," risponde Giuseppe. "I nostri bambini sono nella stessa classe. Sono amici!" "Yes, they go there," replies Giuseppe. "Our children are in the same class. They are friends!"
7. "È vero! È bello," dice Jan. "Devo andare ora. A presto, Giuseppe!" "Ciao Jan, buona giornata!" "It's true! It's nice," says Jan. "I must go now. See you soon, Giuseppe!" "Bye Mike, have a nice day!"
