Summary
Summary
Lisa’s hair has grown long, heavy and a bit boring. While walking near her apartment, she spots a tiny neighborhood salon with a sign that says “Parrucchiere – Walk‑in Welcome” and decides, on whim, to step inside. Warm lights, wall‑to‑wall mirrors and a friendly hairdresser with kind eyes make the place feel cozy as Lisa explains her request: just the ends, a little shorter, same style and absolutely no fringe.
As cool water mist touches her hair and scissors start to snip, small pieces fall to the floor. Lisa watches herself in the mirror, nervous at first but relaxing as the hairdresser chats calmly about the weather and the city. Bit by bit her hair looks lighter and healthier, and the finished cut is exactly what she hoped for. When she pays and walks back out into the street, she feels subtly transformed—more confident, more at home in the city—and she can’t help smiling at her reflection in a shop window.
