Regenachtige koffie

It is an early Wednesday morning. Jan opens the door and goes outside. He feels drops. It is raining. Jan sighs. He stays under the roof by the door. He waits one minute.

Then his neighbor, Kees, comes outside. Kees sees the rain and stops next to Jan. They look at the street. The street is wet.

Jan says: "The weather is not good for this time." Kees says: "I just looked at the weather forecast. It says: dry now. But it is raining anyway."

"I will go inside for a cup of coffee. I will try again in a few minutes." Jan says: "Good idea."

Kees laughs: “Are you coming too? I have new espresso beans. They are very tasty.”

Jan says: “That is a good idea.” They walk together to Kees’s apartment. Kees makes coffee. It smells good.

They sit at the table. They talk and laugh. Outside, it is still raining. Inside, it is warm. The rain doesn’t make a difference anymore.
