Book Summary

Robinson Crusoe is a young man who dreams of adventure. Against his father's wishes, he boards a ship to see the world. But a terrible storm destroys the ship, and Robinson finds himself alone on a deserted island. He is the only survivor.

At first, Robinson is scared and hopeless. He has no food, no shelter, and no friends. But he is smart and brave. He saves useful things from the broken ship before it sinks. With these tools and materials, he begins to build a new life. He makes a safe home in a cave, learns to make fire, and finds ways to get food and water.

Years pass, and Robinson becomes good at living alone. He grows crops, tames wild goats, and makes clothes from animal skins. He even makes furniture and tools. But he is very lonely. He talks to his parrot and counts the days by making marks on a wooden post. Every day he hopes to see a ship that can take him home.

One day, Robinson makes a shocking discovery - footprints in the sand! He is not alone on the island. He finds out that dangerous cannibals visit the island sometimes. Robinson must be very careful now. Later, he saves a man from these cannibals. He calls the man Friday, and they become friends. Finally, Robinson has someone to talk to!

Together, Robinson and Friday work to survive and protect themselves. They become like family to each other. But Robinson still dreams of going home to England. After 28 years on the island, will he ever see his country again? Will a ship finally come to save them? This exciting story shows how a person can survive anything with courage, hard work, and hope
