Book Summary

Robinson Crusoe is a young man who dreams of adventure. Against his father's wishes, he boards a ship to see the world. But a terrible storm destroys the ship, and Robinson finds himself alone on a deserted island. He is the only survivor.

At first, Robinson is scared and hopeless. He has no food, no shelter, and no friends. But he is smart and brave. He saves useful things from the broken ship before it sinks.
