Un encuentro en Madrid

Elena is in a café in Madrid. She looks at her watch. It is three o'clock. She arrives early. Her date Pablo arrives at three fifteen. Elena is nervous. She drinks water and waits.

"He likes books. You like books. He has a cat. You have a cat. You are perfect for each other!" Ana was very excited. Elena said yes. Now she waits in the café. She wears a red scarf. It is her lucky scarf.

Ana told Pablo about the red scarf. This helps Pablo find her. Elena looks at the menu. Coffee costs two euros. Tea costs three euros. Wine costs five euros per glass. She practices what to say in her head.

A man walks toward the café. He has brown hair and glasses. He wears a blue jacket. He looks at the tables. Then he bumps into a chair! "Oh! Sorry!" he says. Elena tries not to laugh. He sees her red scarf.
