Entrevistas en las calles de Madrid

Today, David Martin is on the streets of Madrid doing interviews for a small news channel. The channel is called Noticias de Madrid. He carries a camera, a microphone, and some questions. He wants to know who these people are, where they live, what they do, and how they are feeling today. He hopes to hear a little about their lives and about their day.

The morning is beautiful and the streets are full of people. Many people go to work, to school, or to shop. Near a bus stop in the center of Madrid, David sees a woman in a red coat. She has a coffee in her hand and looks at the buildings on the street. David comes closer with a smile and waits for the camera to be ready.

“Hello, good morning. My name is David Martin and I work for Madrid News. Today we are doing short interviews in the street. We want to know how people are today. Can I ask you some questions?”

“Yes, of course. My name is Laura. I am twenty-nine years old and I live in Seville. This week I am in Madrid because I started a new job at a travel company. Today I am coming to the office. I feel very happy because everything is new. I am also a little nervous because I want to do it well. But I am happy, and I like Madrid very much.”

“That’s great. And what do you do in that job? Is it your first time in Madrid, or do you already know a little bit of the city? And after work, what do you want to do?”

“I help organize trips for people who come to Spain. I speak with clients, answer emails, and help plan visits. It isn’t my first time in Madrid, but I still don’t know the city very well. After work, I want to walk around the center, take photos, and maybe eat tapas in a small restaurant.”

“Very good. Thank you very much for speaking with us. I hope you have a very good week in Madrid and that your new job goes very well.”
