At school I take an Italian course, and every day I study a little. The subject is new for me, but I like it and it does not scare me. The teacher gives a simple topic, and I try to write calmly. For the course I do a little research on an easy topic. I look for a short article and read only the important parts. I also look at an image to understand the content better. Then I write the title in the notebook and copy two sentences. Then I prepare a small document with the main information. When I finish, I check everything and save it.

At the weekend I visit the city with a friend. We enter a church and we speak in a low voice. We look at art and we observe an artwork on the wall. My friend tells a simple story and I listen with interest. Then we go out and we walk slowly, without hurry. The visit leaves me a calm feeling.

One day I go to the university for a meeting open to the public. There is a small event and many people listen. I take a page with the program and read the main points. Then I follow a short talk about culture and I understand some words. After the event I speak with a student and I ask her two questions. She answers kindly and helps me.

When I have time, I go to the library and pick an easy book. I sit down and read one page, and then I take a short break. Sometimes I also watch a series of short videos, but I choose the content carefully. If I find an interesting article, I mark it and take it home. In the library I like the silence, and I can concentrate better. In this way I read more and I learn more.

In the afternoon I go to the museum with my family. We see many works and we look at the details calmly. There is also a section about the city’s culture, and it is easy to understand. In one room we listen to some background music and we stay quiet. Before leaving, we buy a small book from the museum’s edition. Then we go home tired but happy.

In the evening we sometimes go to the theatre, but we choose an easy show. At the theatre we read the title on the ticket and we find our seats. The play is short and the theme is clear, so we can follow it well. Another evening we prefer the cinema and we watch a simple film. After the film we talk about the story and we say what we liked. So we use new words without stress.
