In the bedroom I want only silence and order. I redo the bed, I pull the sheet, and I arrange the blanket well. I check the mattress and I turn it sometimes, so it lasts longer. In the building I also have a cellar, and I use it to keep things that are not needed every day. Sometimes I go down to the basement, I open the door, and I turn on the light. I put the heavy objects on a shelf and I put the light boxes on top. When something is needed, I look calmly and I look until I find it. To close, I turn the key in the lock and I check twice. A little further away there is the garage, and I park there without losing time.

When spring arrives, I often use the balcony and make it more welcoming. I put a small table and two chairs there, so I can have breakfast outside. In the evening I bring an outdoor lamp and turn on a soft light. If I have guests, we go up to the terrace and talk until late. From up there we look at the roof and see the city lights. Then we come back inside and close the glass door so it stays quiet.

To not lose documents, I keep a paper folder near the entrance. I put receipts and notes inside, and I also add a small card with useful numbers. When I need something, I open the right drawer and find it right away. If I do not find it, I check the wardrobe again and then I check the shelf again. This way the apartment stays tidy and I stay calm. In the end the home works better, because everything has its place.

On moving day the corridor was crowded, and everyone walked slowly. We brought the sofa in the elevator, but for the table we used the stairs. Each time we opened the door, went through, and closed it again quickly so we did not block the passage. In the apartment we moved chairs and boxes from one room to another. We assembled the wardrobe, then we checked drawers and shelves. In the end we breathed out: the house was a mess, but a mess we could manage.

At the end of the day I come back, close the door, and leave the corridor tidy. In the living room I turn off the lamp, arrange the sofa, and put away a few things left on the table. In the kitchen I check the fridge and the oven, then I clean and close everything. In the bathroom I leave a towel and soap in their place and I check that the toilet is clean. In the bedroom I arrange the bed and the pillow, lower the curtain, and close the window. Then I adjust the radiator or the air conditioner, and finally I sleep.
